House Manager | September 2018-present

Manages the physical infrastructure, facilities, housekeeping, studios and hospitality of the museum and live/work art space. Cares for, improves, and develops systems that promote cleanliness and maintenance of appliances, production facilities, gardens + grounds, collection materials, installations, and communal living spaces. Leads new resident/intern orientations and tours, as well as weekly house meetings, daily meal prep, and group cleans. Serves a resource to interns and artists in residence by addressing their needs, resolving conflicts, advising and assisting with installations. Manages, budgets, and shops for the Food Co-op, Kitchen Commons, and all functional studio facilities. Ensures a safe, enjoyable, well represented atmosphere for all guests working, living, and visiting. Manages onsite interns throughout the year.

HOF Designs

Patterning and Sewing Assistant | April 2017 - September 2018

Responsible for reading, drawing, and cutting upholstery patterns, as well as hand sewing covers for steering wheels, handrails, and chairs. Assisted with custom furniture builds using techniques such as fiberglass resin, and foam sculpting. Use of industrial machines for sewing and skiving.

Schanck Studios

Studio Assistant | October 2016 - September 2018

Assisted in the finishing of sculptural works and furniture. Trained new employees in various techniques such as gilding, caulking, and resin pouring/coating.
